The majority of these roles are based at our Head Office in Swindon, with some roles at our National Accounting Centre in Bradford and some being field based.

Information Systems

Information Systems maintains and develops new IT solutions that enable us to improve efficiencies and service. Smiths News has invested in industry leading technology.

Finance

Finance is responsible for paying publishers and suppliers for stock received by the business, and collecting payments from retailers for stock delivered to them. It is also responsible for producing financial reports and ensuring effective systems of internal compliance.

Human Resources

The Human Resources team provide a strategic and operational service to all departments.  Roles are incredibly varied but all of them require first class customer service, strong commercial acumen and the capability to drive business change.
