We had teams taking part from Swindon Head Office, Wimbledon and London Travel News.  The day was all about fundraising for the cause and no doubt the team from Swindon were helped in this regard by the fact that they were in fancy dress! 

Despite the bad weather on the day the walkers completed the whole route and showed their support for the industry’s charity. 

Sonia Little from Swindon said: “Some people may have been put off by the weather but we were committed to completing the walk.  I think it’s important to show support for NewstrAid and doing the Old Ben Walk in costume certainly livened it up!”

Richard Webb, IS Director at Smiths News, said: “As a Trustee of NewstrAid I’m delighted to see our staff out and about raising money for such a good cause.  Well done and a big thank you to everyone who took part.  And remember, it’s still not too late to make a donation.”
