Smiths News continues to invest in developing market leading supply management solutions and work with publishers and our retail customers to meet each set of objectives.

If we are to retain or grow the space devoted to the newspaper category, solutions that improve sales and make the category simpler to manage are essential. Smiths News will work collaboratively with Publisher and retailers both large and small to achieve this.

For retailers who have the capability this will be centred on EPoS based solutions. For retailers who have a home news delivery service this will be based on ring fencing HND copy to improve copy management efficiencies.

Our newspaper copy management offer is currently delivered through our centralised Newspaper Sales Centre in Borehamwood.

In the latest Publisher Satisfaction Survey (2008) Smiths News outscored other Wholesalers in area of General Copy Management Targeting, a demonstration of our excellence in this area.

The key elements of our copy management offer are:
