Pass My Parcel proudly sponsors Woo Fest
The speedy delivery service Pass My Parcel will be supporting the charity music festival in Worcester this weekend.
Now in its third year Woo Fest offers a variety of live music by local bands, with 100% of ticket sales going straight to St. Richard’s Hospice. And it’s all organised by Smiths News employee Luke Simons:
“We’re thrilled to have the PMP brand at Woo Fest this year,” said Luke, who set the event up in memory of his late father. “Each year we are overwhelmed with the support we get – if it wasn’t for our generous sponsors and volunteers we wouldn’t be able to raise as much money.”
Pass My Parcel Marketing Manager Rachael Stewart-Davies added, “As a local business we have a responsibility to the communities in which we operate. One of the most enjoyable parts of our job is meeting our neighbours and getting involved with local events, like Woo Fest.
We are proud to support a number of inspirational charities and are dedicated to contributing to their ongoing work into caring for our society.”
Over the last two years the festival has raised £15,000 for St. Richard’s, a Worcester-based charity that cared for Luke’s father before his death in 2013.
“It’s such a great family event,” continues Luke. “As well as the music, there’s a BBQ, hog roast and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained too. And this year we’re excited to see the RAF Lancaster bomber flyover – it’s going to be really special.”
