Lucy is taking over from Phil Adams, who, after 43 years of exceptional service with the business, will be retiring at the end of this month (January 2022).

With a strong background in engineering and operations management, Lucy has enjoyed a career in various roles across the industrial sector. She has director level experience managing teams in warehousing, transport and business development, and comes with a proven track record of delivering results with the right approach to people and values. Lucy has experience in the petrochemical and retail sectors, having worked in senior operations roles at Argos and Amazon, including leading a national team of fast-paced, out-sourced warehouses and specialist customer fulfilment operations.
More recently, Lucy spent two years with Yodel in a transformational role as Director of Sort and Transport, and latterly with McKesson as Vice President Operations, in a role that involved maintaining and improving the pharmaceutical distribution network.
