Presented at a ceremony held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, all ten sites in the running took achievement awards home, with seven gold for Smiths News and a gold and two silvers for Tuffnells, recognising their efforts towards improving health and safety standards in the workplace through education and new technologies.
Commenting on the centre’s success, Jonathan Bunting CEO of Smiths News, said:

Health and safety is something we take very seriously and the fact that some of our sites have managed to retain the Gold Award for a many consecutive years is a testament to that.
