Graduates and internships

Each year, Connect Group takes on a select cohort of graduates, giving them a chance to experience different aspects of the company over an 18-month period.

At the end of it, they have the opportunity of a permanent position in one of our businesses, with all the rewards and benefits that brings.

Smiths News plays an important part in the graduate scheme, by providing candidates with a diverse mix of training opportunities, in every part of our complex operation.

I saw the scheme as a fantastic opportunity to experience all aspects of working for a large company. There seemed to be a real investment in the development of previous graduates on the scheme.”
